Video Transcript:
Hi, I’m John from JoomlArt. And today we will talk about how to customize logo for templates developed with T3 Framework.
T3 supports 2 logo types: image or text.
Open the template manager setting. Access the “Theme” tab. The theme settings are not global settings so it will be applied for current template style. Let’s select the template style for the logo you want to customize, then select home style.
Now select logo type, let’s try text logo first. Here we add site name … then slogan. And save the settings.
Let’s check front-page, reload the page and you see logo has been changed from image to text.
Back to the setting panel. Now select image logo type, browse and attach the image we want to replace current logo. Save the setting, go to front page and reload. And wah-lah our logo has been updated with our new image.
You can also customize the style of logo. Let’s debug the logo. You see the style of logo here, add style for logo such as margin-top, margin-bottom … Next, check which file to add the style to, and you see the full path to the style.less file.
Open the style.less file, it’s inside the less folder. And paste the customized style to logo style class in the file. That’s just one way to customize the logo style. You can add many more styles.
That’s the end of our tutorial today. Thanks for watching and check out more videos at: http://www.youtube.com/user/JoomlArt
