Event Date Issue

Hi,

I'm trying to fix a date issue that i seem to be having and can't seem to fix.

as per screen shot you can see that the date format is year-month-day, i am trying to get it to show in Australian format day-month-year. i have change the settings in joomla and jevents to time zone hobart but it hasn't change the date format.

I have chatted with jevents and know it not a problem with the component as when i change the template to protostar it shows the date format correctly so its the jevents II template that is giving me the issue.

P.S It's also showing things for the 15th September even though it the 16th September.

Joshua-M unfortunately my hosting company doesn’t allow FTP connections so please use administrator login details if possible.

Hi,

You can backup this file: [root]/templates/ja_events_ii/html/com_jevents/default/range/listevents_body.php

Open it and look for this snippet of code (at approx line 75)

<dd>
    <spanclass="icon-calendar"></span> 
    <?php 
    echo $row->startDate();
    ?>
</dd>

change it to:

<dd>
<spanclass="icon-calendar"></span> 
<?php 
echo JHtml::_('date', $row->startDate(), 'd-m-y');
?>
</dd>

Thank you for your help this has solved the issue i was having.
