No you can not set it for specific day of week for lesson.
The option is only for Course, You can set the course type by hour, week and month.
its not based on Lesson.
When a user start his course, his week start from that day, Suppose he start on Monday so next lesson he can access on Next Monday.

No, as its not possible for day, the same is for dates, You can restrict users to buy course only one one date except you will add/publish the course on that specific day.
