K2 editor - link to "item"

hello. I have created K2 "items" to replace "articles" on my joomla 3.5 website. I am now using the editor trying to make a link to another "item" on my website in the K2 editor. when i click the "instert/edit" link, it does not display the K2 "items". Ony articles that were not created with K2.

jcastellano Hi. I'm afraid this is how editors are. K2 has not developed an addon to that, You will have to add the links manually.

ok. the other issue is that the "Read More" link (for some reason) does not stay in the same template layout. click the link below and then on "Read More" - it uses the theme i created for the home page. I want it to keep the same layout. Is there a way to make this not change?

For the JCE editor, there is this plugin that works quite well. It is clean and easy to use. I hope this help and no one minds me piping in to help:
