I have to make things appear in a blog that will be posted to Facebook and other social media. The social postings must lift the introtext for the article. When I add the 'read more' line to my article the user sees the introtext twice. If I 'hide introtext' I only see the introtext once, but it is not displayed when I go to post the blog entry on Facebook. How can I show the introtext once (not twice, with one instance by the blog image and the other in the body of the blog post...only once, by the blog picture only and NOT in the body of the blog) and also have the introtext show up in my Facebook posts.

I'm caught in a catch-22 where either the blog posting looks normal with only a single instance of the introtext showing OR our marketing people can easily post the blog.

hbic Hi. This looks to be done by some plugin. Please attach an access to joomla panel and ftp.

hbic Hi. I'm afraid the access given isn't working. Please check it and provide correct one:

Sorry, had the wrong username, please try now.

        hbic Hi

As requested earlier, Can you also add your ftp details along with admin details in order to take closer look

The details can be added in format outlined in edit fields :

        Site admin account
        Admin panel username/password
        Ftp info (host, user, pass)
        Ftp hostname, username, password

Also, Kindly check for file permissions ensuring that the specific template files are writable i.e. set to chmod 777 or 755. Ref: screenshot as I had got the specific error while trying to edit specific file to troubleshoot. This would enable to facilitate the troubleshooting process more seamlessly
