Corporation update wiped out all my customizations

I was surprised that the usual update procedure eliminated not custom.css, but template settings as well - plus it disabled several plugins I rely on. Not sure what's in your installer but you might want to check it. (was trying to go 1.0.1 to 1.0.2). This is very unusual for a JB update.

Not going to try it again - may just wait it out for Joomla 4.

blue_shift Hi. I've just checked and there are not database changes included. What happened was nost probably that template was installed as a new one, but does not explain disabling of plugins, template installer simply cannot do it. Can You prepare a copy of Your site so I will be able to test it? Had no copy with old template version, but tried install it, no problems mentioned unfortunately 🙁

blue_shift Also, To append and verify, I assume that you must have followed suggestion posted here by Paul and created new preset and layout which shouldnt get overridden as I can see your post in the end of similar trailing forum topic which corroborates that you must be familiar with the process as outlined

aman204 the preset instructions are like flushing a toilet on a submarine. i can't simply save a preset and expect it to be there five minutes later. i'm going to wait for Joomla 4 to come out before i mess around with this site - it gets 8k hits a month. it's working just fine. : )
