    Kindly share the credentials of your site and clarify the detailed steps to replicate the issue as I can't duplicate at my end. Also, in the backend settings of this plugin, there is not option to turn on/off the intro text like that.

      I'm not turning off in the plugin but in the Article configuration Option, otherwise (if the option "Introdution text" is on, the text after "read more" will be duplicated, and also a module that put an image on the footer will be duplicated. I can reproduce it always, so I reckon it is an incompatibility between the plugin and that option of Article in the last Joomla update (I had no issue first and I haven't installed something new in the past months...)

      I'm using Teline V, Joomla 3.8.7 and JA Thumbnail 2.6.0.

        Still problems in the last version of JA Teline V and Joomla 3.9.x.
        The problem is with JA Popup and JA Thumbnail if is set "Read more". A workaround is disable "intro text" (Option -> Intro text -> don't show), but doing so in Blog Featured mode I can see the whole article and not only the intro text and read more...
        See attached image: if there is Read more or the option is on the controls of the plugin are duplicated and also images are duplicated (10 become 20) and besides they are crop.
        Please, help.

              Intro text enabled and the problem is there

              EDIT: first resized images then the normal ones, duplicated, also the prev-next bar is duplicated. If I change "intro text" in no all becomes ok, but if I put a read more into the article the problem is here.

              EDIT 2: if "intro text" option is on also BSC Footer plugin is duplicated, if in it an image has'nt {jathumbnail off images="images/logo.png"} the image will be captured by JA Thumbnail two times.

                          there is no "readmore" line in the article, only the option "Intro text" enabled (see attached image). If I set this option off all works well...

                            after some tries, clicking on an image I get also this message "The requested content cannot be loaded.". How to correct?

                            EDIT: found! JA Popup must be put in the first position, not the last as it was...

                              salvomic Hi. I've tracked the issue to /html/com_content/article/default.php which I can see You have multiple versions of. Can You please tell me what changes has been done exactly to this file?

                                I think none relevant, we can try to delete them and return to the original file. Let me know.
                                I'm having a problem with template: I must paginate it again :-(

                                EDIT: found the apparent issue with the template. Please, see this article. There is a "read more" and that duplicate the text as the others. But the worst thing is that if instead of <p> tag I put <div> tag and the readmore, with this article (featured) the module ACM in the template became wrong and no more responsive, a part of it to the right go below the module and so on: very ugly...

                                So I thing there are some problems with "read more", and not only with JA thumbnail (and/or JA Popup)...
