Updating

I was told to post this in the forum, rather than filling out a ticket....

When Joomla tries to update the extensions, I get an error message. When I go into the settings of iSEO, and try to register my license, I can't find it. Does iSEO support automatic updating?

mbires1 Hi. Sorry for that, I've replied to You in tickets right after sending You to forum. It's a small issue which can be easily fixed by installing newest iSEO manually over the installation You have already. Of course please do not forget to make a backup before updating it, just in case something goes wrong.

The problem has not been solved on any of my websites I use this extension on. I keep on updating and continually get an error message. I checked the update plugin for your extension and the reason why it's failing is because the URL is a 404. teitbite

Hi
Iseo does not have automatic update, you need to download latest version of iSEO and install it via Joomla admin. If there is any issue in installing, kindly edit fields in first post and submit site temp. super user login for staff, so i can try the installation on your site.

I'm still getting this error. The joomla update sites component is looking for https://www.jomsocial.com/seo_update.xml which as mentioned above returns a 404 even with the latest version of iSeoPRO intalled.

I already replied about your question in other post.
You only need to download the latest version of ISEO and install it.
The notification will be auto removed.

Sorry don't know what happened with 2 posts!
... no that's my point - it's not auto removed ...and yes I've disabled it as the error caused other extensions not to install. Just thought you'd want to know. It's not causing an issue now I've disabled it.
