I request you please, verify if the changes made in:
• Gzip compression
• chache memory enablement
• Optimize CSS and JavaScript
They have been well done, because I followed the steps and are very simple to perform thanks to the Joomla administrator interface.
I also could not optimize the use of optimization rules in the .htaccess file, since I do not understand how to do it.
But I want to know if it's okay, if the system made some of those changes, because the Google tool gives me 0/100 in Computer format. This is terrible!

Can You see a list of critical errors?

For Image optimisation I use: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/imagerecycle-image-optimizer/

For optimisation in htaccess You can use: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/jch-optimize/ it will add it for You and can also compress css and js

If the changes in Joomla Administrator don't reflect on the front-end of your site, there must be caches settings on your server side, you can check with your hosting provider for this.
