Change layout of a category ?

when a category show all articles, the layout is

2 articles (and next page)

But I can't find the parameters to make

How can we do that ?

Please navigate to your News2 -> Template options -> Features tab -> "Layout for the category/archive pages section" (here you can set amount of articles. Try the settings from the screenshot:

Sorry but I have 3 others problems...

1// If a put, in "Basic theme settings", the "Show read more on the frontpage" disabled. It is still on frontpage...
Strange...?

2// "Display Author Info" is on Disabled, but we see it on every article like this "Written by ..."

3// We put "Display comments on pages" on Disabled.
But we can see on top, the number of comment > "0", and on the bottom we see "Laisser un commentaire"..

Is this function exist for articles..?

Hi,

Regarding your issues:
1. This option from "Basic theme settings" may be used only if you are using default latest post view on the frontpage. Now you are using widgets, so please edit your News Show Pro widgets from these widget areas and disable "Show read more button" option (Article Layout tab).
2. It's "Author info" block from your author's archive page I think (not "Written by..")
3. Regarding the comments, please check this article: https://www.gavick.com/blog/managing-wordpress-comment-options

Hi,

Regarding the second issue - you can disable "Post sidebar informations" from Template Options -> Basic tab to hide all information (also with date and category).

If you want to hide only "written by", try with the following custom css code:

.gk-meta-post li:nth-child(2) {
	display: none;
}

and last question here, what is the best way to "play" with custom CSS file ?

In /wp-content/themes/News2-Child/css/override.css ? But it is not working (it is working only in /wp-content/themes/News2/css/override.css

or with a other CSS plugin like "Add Custom CSS" ?

The light way is the first choice, isn't it ?

Hi,

News2-child/css/override.css file should work - did you enable it from template options?

You can also try Appearance -> Customize -> Custom CSS section - this features was added some time ago to WordPress core, so you don't need another plugin for it.
