Joomla Gk-Box versus Wordpress Gk-Box

Using the hamburger-Menu in Joomla Gk-Box, hovering over link changes the link color to tourquoise, when doing the same in Wordpress Gk-Box link color doesn't change. Why ? And where to change so Wordpress Gk-Box behaves the same as Joomla Gk-Box ?

I have just a localhost install atm. If you go to the Joomla Gk-Box Demo Site https://demo.gavick.com/joomla3/box/ you'll see that if you resize the browser to small so the hamburger-navigation gets active, the links on the hamburger-navigation when hovering are changing to tourquoise color.

If you go to the Wordpress Gk-Box Demo Site https://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/box/ and do the same so the hamburger-navigation gets active, the links on the hamburger-navigation when hovering are NOT changing the color to tourquoise.

Please excuse, but the Gk-Box-Wordpress-Theme seems to be not very well done. One additional example: The top-navigation-bar when scrolling down disappears, when moving up again it appears again, if you look at the right-side of the top-navigation bar you'll see that it extends the right-hand-side over the main body part. This is the case also on the Demo Gk-Box-Wordpress Site https://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/box/ : May you please update the Gk-Box-Wordpress-Theme (if still supported?). Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback. These issues may be easily fixed by adding the following custom css code:

#gk-header-nav.gk-fixed-nav {
    position: fixed;
    left: 1%;
    right: 1%;
    width: 98%;
} 

#gk-menu-overlay-wrap .nav-menu a:active, 
#gk-menu-overlay-wrap .nav-menu a:focus, 
#gk-menu-overlay-wrap .nav-menu a:hover {
    color: #81d4fa!important;
}

We'll fix them with the next theme update.

Thank you for the reply. Your #gk-header-nav.gk-fixed-nav solution works fine. Many thanks for that. The #gk-menu-overlay-wrap solution works fine when hovering, changing color to tourquoise, but doesn't work for the current active page. For example if I stay on the Home-Page, the Link home should be with tourquoise color. I've worked on the solution myself but had to change css in different places to make it work. Hope to see an update soon. Regards.

to add: I was a tiny bit too soon to confirm that solution #gk-header-nav.gk-fixed-nav is fine. It is, BUT when resizing the viewport to 1560px width, the left and right of the top navigation bar is being cut (this happens only when NOT at the top of the site - fixed navigation when scrolling up). The solution which works (at least that's my impression for now) is to change following css to

  #gk-bg,
  #gk-top {
  /*  width: 100%; */
  }
}
