Good morning everybody.
It's been a while since I'm using JaLawFirm.
There's something I was thinking to ask for a long time.
It's about Masthead module: everytime I add the module to a menu item, I always got the attached message, I don't know what's the reason and I don't even know what makes it disappear: I clear the cache, reload the pages several times, restart the browser, some of these things or all together....now, since I need to update and add a number of new modules and menu items, it's getting annoying and time consuming.
I'd appreciate your help in understanding what leads to the problem.
Please see the screenshot enclosed,
thanks
Masthead module - error messages when adding modules to menu items.
Similar alike issue had been reported earlier however it had been concluded with no solution posted by the respective member
Kindly check if you have latest joomla version installed ?
thanks for your reply,
well I'm currently running 3.8.7.
Hi
Can you add site access details together with ftp access
Thanks
Paul
I get this, now it may just be my site but what happens to me is
1) I hit the + button to duplicate and add all the details then when I save it, the last background image I've added moves up one place and leaves the one I've just entered blank which then gives the error you are seeing.
2) I then have to go back in to the module and correct the last two entries, ie change the background images to what I want and then the error disappears and it will show the page on the site.
Bit of a convoluted way of doing it but it works, you may need to type the url directly into the background image box as it behaves weirdly sometimes.
haxx Hi,
Thanks for sharing the workaround and solution. Can you kindly open new topic and let us know the redirection forum post link in order to have closer look.
Kindly add your admin details for the respective site in edit fields in order for us to check the relative bug as being replicated by you. This will henceforth, enable us to report the same to JA dev. team and the same can be lined up to be fixed in next template version upgrade along with providing enduring solution to the same
I am unable to replicate such issue in local install
For reference, You can follow thread post (5 point) procedure.
