If article does not contain any image, plugin will try to search /images/phocaopengraph/ folder for image which has the same name as article ID has (e.g. article ID=1 ==> 1.jpg). Regarding Google+ it should respect the og tags but it does require the image to be sufficient size

The documentation says this

So to test that you would add an image to this folder /images/phocaopengraph and name it the id of the article in article manager

I will try an example image in this extension to see if it works

My second reply was when I had a similar situation with a template from the template provider you listed I used a different extension - https://www.perfect-web.co/joomla-extensions/open-graph

I have created an image for this and uploaded to the site - below are the steps I carried out

If the plugin can't see the image in the content this is how the image needs to be added

Thank you very much for your kindness and patience. I have seen few moderators who help as well as you.
In order not to lengthen this thread it is better to close it. I understood that it does OPen-Graph but I do not know why you have created an image for this and uploaded to the site.

Anyway, is Phocaopengraph-plugin enough?
This plugin is free, however your suggestion costs 19 Euros.
Now it seems that everything works with phocaopengraph.

The last question:
Is the current configuration of Phocaopengraph enough or should I change it every time I add an article with its respective image?
How do I close the thread? With the new menu, I do not know how it is done.

In the first post It can include exclusive information for moderators. How is it done from the second post?

Hi carlucci,

With the image I added - I checked the article and it displayed the wrong image so this was something to test on
So I added an image following the plugin's documentation which requires an image to be created in that particulare folder.

With the plugin it depends if you or the client are able to follow the steps (and have enough time) with uploading and naming the image with the article id

The access details added in the first post are private but information after that is public

I can close this ticket if you feel the problem is resolved
