Sorry but I am afraid that It is lengthy task and should require several changes working with table HTML tags accompanied with PHP variables/functions inbetween which has also become quite obsolete. As suggested, You can post in Virtuemart forums as the layout has been constructued by their Dev. Team. and ask if they have layout template structure for the specific page comprising of HTML <div> tags which should probably, enable to get the results quite conveniently as envisaged
If you wish to bring specific layout to default stage, You can replace the current file (template override) with attached one in this path i.e. /templates/ja_charity/html/com_virtuemart/cart/default_pricelist.php and unzip it
