What does "Client Content update Permission" mean?

Hi,

We are considering purchasing a JA Builder Pro license.

I noticed on your plans it says "Client Content update Permission" under JA Builder Pro Premium and I wondered if you could clarify what that meant exactly?

Just in case You are reffering to this article I'll try to explain with my words. After developer will finish a site using Builder the Client Content Update Permission will allow to disconnect from our builder server, but the client will still be able to make changes to the content. This is something which was not possible previously and Clients had to be attached to Developer licence in order to make changes to site.

To confirm our requirement - We have a live client site with premium blocks. The client needs to be able to edit/update the content within the premium blocks. Do we need a JA Builder Pro or JA Builder Premium account for this?

Can someone from JoomlArt confirm?

As it seems moronic that we'll have to pay nearly 3x the amount for just this feature...
Not to mention it's a feature we advised you on!! lol...

romolo Yes you do need JA Builder Premium license if you want your clients to be able to update content without JA Builder account.

romolo Your client would need to have login access to the JA Builder Pro account in that case.
