Design Control Template Menu not showing after Joomla Update

I'm using the shape5 template Design Control Template, and after upgrading my Joomla from 3.5.1 to 3.8.12 the main menu disappeared. Please advise on how to fix this issue.

Hi,

Try to take a full backup of your site and make sure that you're using lates version for Vertex framework and template also.

What do you mean take full backup of site?

I meant you can backup your site first and update framework + template to the latest version.

tmpugh Hi. For a complete and full backup You can use joomla component called Akeeba Backup. It will produce a package if Your whole site with database, so it will be easy to restore it if updating will break something.
