Changing color for sections?

Hello,

When I modify the color for a section in ThemeMagic, this has no effect. What should I do?
(it works in the Quickstart version which I have installed in parallel)

patg221 Hi. I'm afraid this background has been overwritten by bootstrap. You will have to overwrite it in css directly. Add this to custom.css:

.customhero-unit .hero-unit {
background-color: #fff;
}

OK this css lineworks, but it only modifies the color of the module - not the section.
Also, how come this feature works in the Quickstart version, but not in the template only installation?

I am now enclosing a screenshot of the Quickstart version, showing what I would like to achieve

patg221 Hi. As I said it's being overwritten by bootstrap's css. We do not use this bootstrap version in our quickstart, I do not know what is loading it in Your case, maybe joomla or one of the other modules.

I've just noticed something. Was that You adding css class suffixes? They are missing a spacebar in front and gets merged with classes which are there already.

Now this section You are refering to is using class: "onepagehero-unit", when I put the spacebar between them: "onepage hero-unit" section background is light grey.

OK this does not solve my problem, but please close this ticket.

There are too many discrepancies between the Quickstart installation (and the demo site) and the results obtained by installing this template + modules on an existing website.

Therefore I am radically changing my approach to this project.
