JA K2 Filter - Edit "|_" character on dropdown subcategories

Hi, I've a website up and running with JA K2 Filter, which has proven to be a great extension.

I'd like to remove the "|_" characters that appear on the dropdown before each subcategory. I've attached a screenshot.

I can modify core files if you point me in the right direction.

teitbite Great! You'll find the credentials there. The issue is at the top of the page, in the first dropdown, where it says "Seleccioneu població".

Please also attach an access to ftp. I've checked the code and this characters aren't added from module, but taken from tables. I need to check where exactly and replace them before they show.

estudiovni Hi. Thanks to HienNM, who shown me where to look. Please edit file /modules/mod_jak2filter/elements/categoryk2.php and look for a line:

$pre = '<sup>'.|_.'</sup>';

and remove it.

teitbite Thanks Teitbite, I already found that file and modified it, the characters still appear in the dropdown... I've cleared the browser and Joomla's chache.

estudiovni Hi, that's strange. It's the only place I could have find it. Please install some ftp component and rise the user access levet to super user for the account provided. I need to check if You are not using any overrides. Unfortunately the ftp is not working for me due to building firewall as I suspect 🙁

teitbite As far as I know, there's no override for JA K2 Filter...

I've installed the eXtplorer component and raised the account to Super User.

estudiovni Hi. Sorry it's taking so long, had to visit my parents to use their internet to login to Your ftp, but I've just found out that the access provided is not working 🙂

Anyway I was able to locate one more ocurence of this characters in helper.php line 879:

                    $pre = '|_&nbsp;';

hope it's the right place.
