Could not write to the configuration file

Hi Guys

I have a problem with my website.
the frontend is working fine, and much of the backend.

But when I go into Global Configuration and hit Save i get an error message "Could not write to the configuration file "

Also when I try to upload any new software upgrades (i.e. template or plugins) I get the message "Unable to find install package"

Having scouted around it seems there is a problem with the owner permissions, but I do not know how to resolve this.

Can you help me please.

shemeam Kindly review as your ftp details arent working in order to take closer look

You may also try the tips provided here . Also, To troubleshoot closely, Kindly let us know the extension precisely which you have tried installing pursuant to which error is shown

aman204 I have updated the ftp url above. Should work now

shemeam You can try consult your hosting provider for changing of ownership, if needed along with other tips as I have tried changing configuration.php file to writable however the issue still persists.
