How can I introduce some information in home page?

Hello.

Now, I'm trying to put some articles in the main page of the template (Home). But, I'm not glad with the results. I have used an extension (Coala News Web) to distribute in a flexible way the content. In early versions of Joomla! there was a component com_content which you could change the way to display articles. Position home-5 is another attempt.

What can I do?

Com_content is joomla core component and if you want to change layout you will need to customize it

Would be better if you can share your website url so we can have a look at it and also a screenshot mockup of your desired layout for home page.

Well, I was doing the website in localhost (XAMPP). Yesterday, I bought a domain and today I have already the web active. But, I havent had time to do anything else. I am working just now and I cant do any modification.

The web is http://www.livelysport.es/ but as you can see, is still untouched. Not even is installed the T3 Blank Template.

I've already installed the T3 BS3 Blank Template in my website (not local). But I've realized that I could install the quickstart version of the template in localhost, but now, in a remote server, I haven`t the Home layouts of the template, because the version of Joomla in the remote site was automatically installed as a ready-made package. And a quickstart package is like an independent installation of Joomla! Do you have a solution for it, or must I talk to the hosting enterprise?

I think you will need to hire a developer if you want to customize your home page differently from what is in quickstart package

Don't worry. I've achieved to install the quickstart package in the remote server. So, I think that everything is going to be easier from now on.
