Installing Joomla Light Church Template

I have already set up and installed Joomla 3.18 and I purchased the Light Church template and I have tried to install the Quick Start and it keeps failing with this error message:

Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla.

I downloaded all of the files. Not sure what to do next.

Please help.

Hi Bob,

Installing the Quickstart package will be the same as process of installing default Joomla package, it should not be installed via back-end of your existing site.

You can follow this guide for how to install: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/other/quickstart-installation (the guide is for JA templates but the steps are quite the same)

You will need to start afresh with clean database/directory in order to install quickstart with demo content as envisaged

Kindly ensure that Quickstart package is installed on clean folder with new database thereby, deeming it as fresh install as it already contains all the prerequisite joomla core folders and files so it wont install on already running Joomla package
