Internal server error 500 with cron job

Hello, I have succesfully setup this plugin on 2 websites but the third one, i have talked about this in the past, has trouble with the cron job. I get internal server error back from the server. I have everything the same as my other websites but this one is not working. Is this a known error?

Could you try to contact hosting administrator to check in the server side first? as it seems to relate to server side.

It seems that the following error comes up when I get the 500 internal server error:

Memory issue, could not allocate the memory. Could it be that this CRON job tries to upload too much pictures to the amazon webserver?

huubss Hi. Cron should be doing everything in queue. Maybe there is not enough memory set in php.ini. Please check what settings You got there and double it, just for test. If it will work than we will know, if not than it will tell us to look somewhere else.

I don't have a PHP ini file. But I now do multiple cron jobs to lessen the load per cron job. It worked before so I think it's indeed a memory issue. Now it should work with less images to upload per cron job.

Internal server error is fixed. It was indeed too many images in one time.

Now I have one last question. My image gallery has an href to the image itself, but this link doesn't get replaced by the plugin. Is there a possibility to also replace this href for the link? So that my gallery works? You guys also made the background-image src work so I hope you can make this work as well... Because else i have to hardcode it in the template, which is something I don't want to do because the images are not immediately uploaded so that way actually doesnt work right out of the box. I can ofcourse check if the image exist and if not it will load the local url but it would be more handy for me if the plugin also checks for the href tags..

Yes I can, thank you for responding. I have added the url to the information above.

So the first line underlines the href which the gallery points to, this is the url that gets opened. It points to the image on the local installation.
The line below that you see the background-image and the image itself which do get replaced. But because how the Fancybox3 works right now is that you link to the image itself and the javascript handles the rest.

Now because the a href does not get replaced it links to an image that is zero bytes on the local server (i use the blank files in my installation which works really well) so the image does not get replaced. I was wondering if this a href could get replaced as well so it points to the amazon webserver location.

huubss Hi. I do understand, but it's not our product. I think You should be talking to Joomlaworks as they are developers for Simple Image Gallery. From my side I can propose a hack which may overwrite the urls:

I don't think you understand. The background images are replaced in this plugin, only the href doesn't gets replaced. I asked if your developers could add this href tag in the regex as well. I asked for the background-image replacement, which was added. I think you can add the href tag as well. Please respond. The javascript is not a solution. I want it replaced with the plugin, because now it just skips that tag.

huubss Hi. SIG plugin is rendering gallery post K2 page render so regex won't help in this case. But You are right that I do not understand, I can see that clicking the image opens nothing becuase images are not being loaded from /media folder but from cloudfront.net site. My script will take this cloudfront urls and replace the not working /media url.

Please tell me exactly what You need to change to what and I'll try again.

You are wrong. The gallery isn't rendered after the content, because the images you see in the thumbnail are loaded via cloudfront. Which means that the Amazon Plugin changes these paths before rendering.

My question is simple. Also replace the a href. So that the a href points to the image on the cloudfront and not on the local installation.

The image in the href loads from the local installation. This image is not there anymore because I deleted that via the delete option in the cronjob.

Look at my image again you see that the image tags gets replaced but the href isnt, or ask your colleagues if you don't understand. saguaros helped me in the past flawlessly.

I just want the regex to replace the href to be extended so the href gets actually replaced.

I understand that I can do it with Javascript, but it would be cleaner if the plugin also replaced the urls of the <a href>
