MegaMenu backend Configuration not visible

Hello, I am having issues with viewing the MegaMenu Configuration
Apparently it doesn't show the sub menu so as to use the item configurations. I dont think this has occured from a previous version of joomla. Cause i updated it a few moments ago and deleted all the cache yet the issue still remains, any advice please?

Kindly increase the max execution time to 300 and memory limits to 512M and post_max_size values from PHP setting on your server.
Let me know if still you have the same issue.

I have just made the changes you requested, however it isnt visible still. Ive deleted all the browser cache etc.
yet the issue still remains.

Do you have any clew as to why this is occuring? Is it the t3? I'm really troubled with this, since i do not understand why its happening and what triggered it. Do you think if i re install the template on top of the current one this will be fixed? But without losing data of course????

Kindly remove the index.html file from site root folder and check the megamenu.

It works!!!! How is that possible?
The only reason why i kept an empty index.html file in the first place was, so as to not announce the site yet.
Since its in development stage.

Can you please explain how this "irrelevant" change solved this?

Mega menu used the default Home page layout, since the page is changed to index.html file it will not able to find the T3 megam menu on this page.
