French translation pack almost empty

Hi,
I tried to install the french language package but unfortunately the file (fr-FR.com_community.zip) I downloaded seems incomplete and almost empty. Only a few files needed are in the zip file.

Could you please verify that you have the latest version on your translation section?

We do not develop or distribute languages files , they are based on volunteer contributions , you can edit it and translate it if you want

I understand you are not supporting the translation. But in your translation section (Jomsocial Translation) you propose to download the french file that is marked as 97% completed and it is not true! The file is almost empty. If you download the German package all the files are in it.

It's not a problem of translation. It a technical problem. The french package in your section is totally useless.

Please verify.

JomSocial Team only provides repository for the translation. We don't coordinate, or in any way influence translation teams.

Since we provide repository where translations are stored . then

JomSocial Team is not responsible for translation accuracy or eventual mallfunction of the language pack.

Support for translations is not provided by JomSocial Team.

Ok. But where can I find a translation in French? Translating myself will be a huge work. If I had know maybe, I would have headed for another solution.

The french package contains only 3 files in the zip archive. But normally, the archive has 2 folders called "admin" and "frontend" in wich there are approx. 70 files. Try to download the german package for exemple and compare it with the french package. All the necessary files are missing in the french package (only the folder "admin" with 2 files in it).

Do you really have a french package with all the 70 files needed? I don't think so.
