I am needing to create an SEO friendly link to my page with the JA Megafilter on it on Joomla 3 the best way. Please could you let me know how to do this?

The current menu linked URL is ugly for SEO: https://www.professionalsoccercoaching.com/#sort=position&sortdir=desc
And this link just redirects to my home page.....

Is there a way to override this value or something to that effect to get a human legible URL address?

Hi Darren,

Actually, JA Megafilter uses JS to filter so that the path follow the # in URL will not affect your main URL. It will not affect the SEO of URL of that page.

So if I want to link from that page from another page, what URL would I use to direct the user to the page with filter on it?
Im trying to link to this page from another one, but I cant use the URL above?

This is not a friendly SEO URL which is the link taken from the Menu item:

    I am not currently, but I do have it installed, is it ok to redirect/rename? would that effect it? Im using Mijosef currrently to URL rewrite.

    Because I'm using sh404sef and I have a method I use to create a SEF URL, so I could have helped you with that.
    I'm not familiar with Mijosef so I can't help you with it I'm afraid.

    But if Mijosef also lets you rewrite URLs, use the non-sef URL you can find in the Megafilter menu item, and create a new SEF URL for it.

    dpitfield No, you need to get the NON-SEF url from the Menu Item. When you access the Menu Item editing in the backend, for each Menu item you will see a field that says "Link".
