Hey guys,

When editing in frontend if we highlight some text and click the "bold" icon, i see the <strong>text</strong> in the code, but after i save the article this code disappear.
The behaviour is the same if i add it manualy <strong>text</strong>.
But if i add <b>text</b> it works.

In the backend it works fine and this issue doesn't exist.

My client edits this site in frontend and need this bold option working. How can i fix this?

        The login info seems not working now.

        Did you try to switch to another editor?

            I edit the fields with the right ones, sorry my mistake :/

            I also try it with CodeMirror editor, and it has the same bug, if i use the <strong></strong> and hit save, the page reload but i don't get any successful unsuccessful message and the changes i did disappear.

                luismi Try to re-install Joomla package by clicking button "Reinstall Joomla core files"

                Would suggest to also take backup of your site before performing aforesaid steps, in case rollback required whilst facing any issues e.t.c

                    I did it but the issue is still there... :/

                    If i edit a k2 item in frontend it works normally. If i edit a module it's ok too. But when i use <strong></strong> editing an article, i click the save button and it doesn't save

                    I keep searching on foruns but i don't see nothing.

                    Any more ideas?!

                        It was a conflict with a third party extension. I uninstall it and it's working fine now.
