404s coming from theme css

Hi Paul
I'm getting hundreds of 404s reported for an image link in the corporate css on my site. It's one of your sample images which I'm not using in the theme IMG_7202.jpg and deleted from the site long ago. Clearly I can delete it from the css but I wondered why this link wouldnt have been deleted when it recompiled? Whilst I'm posting can you confirm that the template and framework is fully compliant with the latest joomla version as I'm updating the site and if I need to think about a template and framework change I'd rather do that before I start 🙂 I have updated to the latest version of the template and extensions on the site.

Yes, template is fully compatible with newest joomla. It's safe to make an update, but as with every update I suggest to make a backup. Just in case.

HI There is no error now because i deleted it 🙂 but i had hundreds of calls to it the the redirects component snd in the GOOGLE console its referenced in the JSON file I've already updated the template and extensions but was letting you know as I use a different background image and thought the original would have been deleted automatically..... and I'd never work on a site without taking a backup 
by the way, this forum editor works very badly on an ipad

Hi, it displays ok. the issue is in the use of the editor. Clicking on the editor doesn't always open the keyboard and it closes and jumps around if you try and click back to correct something ipad pro latest ios. The editor also doesn't use the usual conventions like auto capital after a full stop, double space for a full stop and auto adding apostrophes but I'm assuming thats because it's not APPLE compatible If I type a capital letter it also leaves all caps on. it does make it very painful and slow to post. Hope that helps.

supergran Hi. Thank You for reporting that. I will let developers know. Answearing Your initial question. A demo content is assumed to be replaced. Same is with image, so less keeps it till the url to the image will be changed. But in most cases users just rename their images to fit.
