S5 media player breaking content

for some reason - the Shape5 media player is adding the backslashes to the page here - obviously that's not going to work.
The error pops up from s5_media_player.php on line 54... though it's the previous line that's messing up. Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!

I just check the provided URL and see that the audio file still plays normally, is that ok now?

turns out the latest update to SH404 is the culprite... For some reason, on a blog page, the link is fine... on the full article it does the above.

I reverted to an older version of SH404 and everything is fine (as you saw). I have submitted a ticket there...
kinda weird...
