I have design-control template with S5-Flex menu

For my volleybalclub I use the design-control with the S5-Flex menu. Now I have one menu item "team", I want to turn it in 5 columns insteadoff 4.
The menu item Teams belongs to the menu-item root and the "S5 flex menu parameters" set the content columns to 4, than I you will see for colums "prestatie", "Mini's", "Recreanten" and "Specials". "jeugd" is placed under "prestatie".
If I "set the content columns to 5, than is only one column left. I think it due that the menu is wider than grid and so it turns into 1 column.

How can I solve this that the menu will turn into 5 columns instead of 4?

I read my old question and I have found it. But it is hard for me to understand. I template was already configured as fluid, Body width 96 and the optional Max Body with is 1100.
I have changed the Max Body with to 1200 and it works, I have 5 columns in the menu.

What for me hard to understand is that the S5 Flex menu does react on the Optional Max Body width. I don't see direct a relation, because between the columns is enough space. I have tried to change this to 120px insteadoff, from the top of my head 210px, but nothing changed.

1200px max width is huge or not? Normally is 960px I believe and if you put more than 4 columns there is problem.

Or do I not understand how it works.

Upon reviewing the same, Such relative issue cannot be replicated as mentioned in initial forum thread as I have changed Optional Max Body Width back to 1100 and the menu columns appear fine as envisaged. Ref: Screenshot

What I mean and what I not understand if I want to use a grid of 960px, than a 5 column menu is not possible? Because of the width of the website?
I do not oversee everything but in my case it is possible to make the space between the columns smaller.

I understand there will be moment that it is not possible anymore, let say 12 columns or more, than not any space is left between the columns anymore.

But for me it is hard to understand that there is a relationship between the level-2 (and higher) menu columns and the grid of the site.

You can take a closer look of the site. I'm curious what you would say how to solve this? And also is there a better way for that menu in combination with vertex framework/template for a tabled or phone? Now it is for both one long column and if you scroll down for the last menu item, the menu scrolls up closing him self... Let the user confused behind.

By the way, I see at the top of this thread the value's of the 'Edit fields'. I suppose that only Shape5 employee's and I can see this!
