Thx! I can see some changes, but the mentioned issues are the same. And even some new issues has arised.

a. The main menu in the main view has moved one button down on a new line.
b. The logo has now changed its dimention in the responsive view.

starlight You may check now. Actually, There are several CSS code diferences between both the sites along with some CSS files not loading in comparison with other site henceforth, the layout and element differences can be seen.

You may check now for the first breakpoint however, regarding the toggle menu to appear while resizing the screen size at various points, Would suggest to get in touch with the developer to have it fixed as the responsiveness in template has been added by the specific dev. and doesnt pertain to error in default stage of template

I am afraid that we can offer "limited support" in term of debuging and fixing errors when the template has been customized upto good extent from default stage

aman204 I still see all the same bugs. The problem is that it was Joey from JoomlArt who did all the template changes. Then he stopped answering my emails. Does he still work with you guys? Can you get him to look at the issue? It is very difficult for me, and may be very costly, to get someone else to fix these errors.

Maybe a solution is to find out what files are being written over that cause the template to collapse when joomla is updated. Then I can restore a backup from before the update and you can make those files not written over when updates are performed. I don't know if this makes sence or is possible, its just a thought that passed me.

aman204 Before your answer my last message, please consider this suggestion, is this possible: I install a backup from before the joomla update where the site is working. Then you find out where the css coding is defined in the template, and move it to the custom css so it is not overwritten when Joomla is updated.

Sorry but I am afraid but it is quite time-consuming task as the site which is appearing fine has custom theme - Green in thememagic however, the site with relative issues doesnt have custom theme and apart from CSS code differences, both the site are loading different bootstrap files.

You may kindly hire some developer or agency in order to get it right as such customizations and debugging goes beyond ambit of "limited support"

As apparently seen and based upon first impressions, You can try to download and install latest version of template first as you are using quite older version and thereon, try to update Joomla version

Would suggest to also take backup of your site before performing aforesaid steps, in case rollback required whilst facing any issues e.t.c

You can refer to my earlier posts as reasons have been explicitly mentioned due to which layout or elements difference can be seen although most have been fixed by the custom CSS added apart from responsive issues which arent getting fixed due to various CSS conflicts as the responsive feature has been incorporated by the developer and doesnt come with default template

I do appologise my lack of understanding. I am not a joomla developer so I don't understand all that you have mentioned.

What I need to understand are what spesific css files are overwritten when joomla is updated, so we can try to install old backup from before the update. Take backup of the spesfic files where the css is defined. then do the joomla update, and then replace those css files with the functioning css.

Yes, You would require to reinstate the responsive feature by replacing the files from current template version in which code modifications or additions have been done in order to get the responsive functionality or better yet, Would also suggest to either change the template to JA Playstore which is more versatile, feature-rich, launched in 2016 and also responsive by default. It also has ACM slideshow configured with somewhat similar appearence

I assume it will be more convenient although the same would require getting some of modules re-assigned to available module positions in JA playstore and making some further changes as required

Thx for the clarification, but that's not really what I want though. I want to use JA Kranos as a responsive template, and I spent over a year working with one of JoomlArts developers to make that happen. And that is because I don't find any other template except JA Kranos to be the perfect template for these sites. And to remake it resposive again from the beginning is the worst nightmare for me.

All I want is to find out why its css is getting messed up when Joomla is updated, fix that, update joomla and keep using the template. Can you please explain if there are any files that I can backup, then update joomla and then replace those files for it to work? I.e first re-install the backup from before joomla was updated, and then backup the css files.

starlight Hi. I'm afraid there is not much we can do here. As You've mentioned the customization of the template went wrong. We do not support customizations and fixes to changes done. If the former user has took this job it was in His free time and we are not responsible for it.

Anyway if You are willing to get rid of this customization, install new template I may provide some code to make it responsive as a service for our product. It may not be a complete rework of template, but for sure will help squeeze site to mobile devices.

To do the above best would be to make a copy of Your site where I'll be able to work and not affect original site.

teitbite Thx for helping out. If we do it like that, would you customize it to look as it is on my site now? If not, is it not easier to fix the last few points that are remaining. Aman has already fixed most of the issues. The main problem left is the responsivness not working.
