504 gateway timeout

Hi,
I'm facing a problem with my site after updating it to the latest joomla version. The site loads really slow and i get an error which says '504 gateway timeout: The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application'. I contacted my host and they replied that the problem is caused by the ja_events_ii template. Is there a way you could check if thats the case?

I see only a slow loading time by my side , i cannot see any timeout , this is due to some scripts loading on your website . my suggestion is to disable / unpublish your 3rd part extensions one at once and test website loading time from THIS WEBTOOL in this way you can easily identify which extensions is causing this .

pavit Cheers for your time. It was google maps causing the problem so i unpublished it for now.
