Hi, I installed Gavick decor Template. After the installation I have got the following message instead of the frontend:

***Fatal error: Can't use method return value in write context in /var/www/web42/html/templates/gkdecor/layouts/default.php on line 19

Can you help me?

    Could you tell us which php version is installed on your host ? and also did you tried to update your host php version to a most recent release to see if this can solve the issue ?

        Thank you for your reply :-)).....ok, my php-Version is 5.3.29-0-0, the minimum requirement for this template is 5.3.10. Sure, we will update to an actual version. But anyway it should work with this version.

        If I disable "//if (!empty($menu->getActive()))" in line 19 of html/templates/gk_decor/layouts/default.php it nearly works.
