link on intro image for video page

Hi,

on this kind of page (video category page) http://xcompositepool.toonetcreation.com/votre-piscine/les-modeles.html how is it possible to have article link on item intro image (or all the area) instead of only on article title ?

Hi,

Could you share the credentials of your site here? I need to know which content type of items on this page on your site. Because, in our demo site, in Video page, the image of each item will have play icon also--when clicking on it, a popup for video will show, click on title to go to detailed page. Hence, it's hard to implement that way as it will effect the play button.

toonetcreation As apparently seen, I am unable to see video links for varied intro text/images on the menu item mentioned by you

On having checked through admin, The "article type" selection for varied articles is base "article" selection which isnt set right to be shown for the respective video page due to which video link isnt appearing for intro text/images for the menu item you have mentioned.

You can kindly create new "video" article types as per documentation here and then configure the same further as per steps outlined

I need to keep classic article, but instead of having link only on article title, if possible to have link to entire area with image ?

In order to have the link reference for entire area, Try add this to custom.css file :
.blog-videos .item .item-image::after{position: relative;}

toonetcreation As it seems, Gradient hover overlay effect with the intro-image stacks over the link href attribute for image due to which link attribute for the image doesnt work, henceforth, You can have either one of the functionality at one time 🙂
