No multiple columns in Home Menu Layout

Hi.
i recently switched to the JA Simpli template and i tried to recreate the same Home page from the previous template. I have one main news taking the whole width of the content area, then 9 secondary news splitted in three columns.
This is the configuration i set:

and this is the Home page i get:

Any Suggestions?

saguaros No, it's not solved. I can't show multiple columns for articles, only one column like it is now.
I would like to replicate the same home page you can see at http://ramsitalia.altervista.org/index.php (the old site before changing the template).

tauri41 Hi. Sorry. I've missed this thread. From screenshot it looks like a html syntax error. Please disable showing content of the article and see if 3 columns will appear. I suspect You have an unclosed html tag in one of the articles which is messing the structure.

Please prepare a page like on Your screen and send me an url to it. It can be hidden from any menu.

Nothing changes if i disable showing content.
I've set up two test pages under the Home menu: Test 1 ant Test 2, they have the same layout (3 columns) but a different template. With Ja Simpli template it doesn't work, with yoo-steam it works perfectly. This lead me to think it is more like a template issue rather than a content issue.

Hi,

Could you check the content in featured articles you're showing on homepage of your site?

I tried going to Home menu item > select to show featured articles from 1 category 'Draft' and it displays fine: http://prntscr.com/lzamuz

Hi Saguaros,
actually if i select the "Draft" category it appears to be fine, but on the second row it starts to mess up with the third column and definitely mess up with the third row.
I'm really puzzled because i don't format articles differently in different categories and i do not have additional code automatically added at the end of the content.
What i don't understand is why i don't have none of this problems with the old template?
I double checked the html code and i don't see anything strange (unclosed mark, missing label, and so on)

Do you mean the old version of this template? could you share the ftp account also?

I mean the template i was using before JA Simpli. If you see the test pages i set up under the Home Menu, Test 1 uses the JA Simpli Template and Test 2 uses the old Yoo Steam Template.

Guys, did you solve this issue? I have the same with JA_SImpli - I want to display article in2 columns, but they are messing up with each other, columns are still narrower and narrower ...

which menu item type are you using? I just tried with a menu item type of Articles >> Category Blog >> and show 1 leading + some intro items with 2 columns but it displays normally.
