JA Filter dynamic range

Hello, I have a request concerning your JA K2 Filter.

I need this feature and I don't know if it's possible with your plugin: I have a directory of services for kids.

For example: first service (a K2 item) is dedicated to 6-8 years old kids
second service (another K2 item) is dedicated to 8-9 years old kids
and so on...

Does The JA Filter Module allow the research by a number input (for example: "8", reffering to the age) to show the services for that age?

In this case, if the input research is "8" it would show service A (range 6-8) and service B (range 8-9), but if the research input is "6" it would show only the service A.

Is it possible and how does it work?

Hi,

I think the range value type will suit your need, you can check the Price field in our demo site: http://joomla-extensions.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/ja-k2-filter/horizontal-layout

With this type, we create a K2 extra field type of 'textfield' so that you can put in each K2 item. Then in module settings, you configure filter type for this extra field: http://prntscr.com/iqy3wq

Hi Saguaros, and thank you for your suggest, but I think that my case is a little different because every K2 Item doesn't have a number value as your example of "cost". It's exactly the opposite situation: Every K2 item has got a "range" value, while the research is a specific number (the age).
In your case (the price), is the opposite situation: the research is about a "range", while every K2 item has got a specific number value (the price).

I got your point but K2 item doesn't have that type of extra field, unfortunately.

That's why I suggest the way we use for Price field in our demo site.
