Hello,

My JA_MOOD template is not performing correcrtly. With every click the main navbar moves up and down aggressively and the pages are not performing in a stable manner. There maybe a conflict in plugins, that I don't know, but all I know is that this installation needs fixing.

I don't want anything changed at all in the installation itself, simply look into why the performance of this template isn't correct. I am looking for a totally static main navigation bar and a stable quick performance of the template. Can you please look into this important issue for us as we are getting complaints from our subscribers.

As I said there maybe a conflict between the template and third party plugins such as "Payplans" our main payment platform, but please look into this issue for me as soon as it is possible, thanks.

In JA Mood template, it calculates the height of topbar block to show the main navigation in right place, it seems you removed the topbar block, right?

Yes we did on the advice of your guru, but the container seems to be still there and the nav bar is still unstable. Please fix this issue for us, we need action, thanks

Try to add this custom CSS:

.ja-topbar { height: 1px; opacity: 0; }
.t3-header { top: 0; }

into the file: [ROOT]/templates/ja_mood (your default template)/css/custom.css (Create this file if it doesn't exist)

saguaros It has helped a bit but the bar still moves. I can see the container no longer exists but, but the nav-bar still searches for the section, generally, it is better.

Hi, The nav-bar no longer moves down then up showing the top empty space.
Nevertheless, now, on any click of any link, the nav-bar stretches vertically in its own container, then, once the page has loaded, it reverts back to the top.

What we are really looking for, is a nav-bar that is totally static even while the page loads for a smooth looking flowing action. I hope that what I write makes sense to you. I am savvy, but not a guru like you guys.

Kindly check now as I have added further CSS to custom.css file in endeavour to get it right :

.t3-header.affix{padding-top: 24px !important;padding-bottom: 24px !important;}

sorry, but there is too much up and down movement. it is worse now. Can't we have just a simple static old fashioned nav-bar? I have re-instated your initial code, your added code has made things worse, sorry.

There is a section below the nav-bar needs to be removed or install a simple Jomsocial template with a simple STATIC bar.
