ssartjb Sorry but I am afraid that replicating another site should require heaps of customizations as per my knowledge to render similar type of output, as every template carries their own unique features, layout structure so the same requires several fragments of coding, css rule-sets along with declarations e.t.c. and then getting it right for both desktop and responsive mode
Apologizes but such customization request as asked by you goes beyond the scope of support provided here in JA forums and should require good sufficient time and skills to replicate another site
Would suggest to hire some developer, designer or agency for the same
What I really want to do is have the Italian template work the way it works in the demo but with the background images imported from the Inspire template. In the demo custom CSS is not needed. I am pretty sure I should be able to do this without using custom CSS as I am trying to use the template as it is used in the demo website.
Regarding your query, I doubt if there is another way except for adding css rule-set with bg-image declaration as suggested. You may kindly explore and search on other forum sites related to similar expertise and knowledge sharing if another convenient workaround could be found for attaining the same
Ref: Screenshot where the background image is also being called through css property declaration as seen in demo site
Thanks for understanding
