I really love the look of search button in the Brickstore menu (verticle), but it only searches the VirtueMart. Id love it to search both joomla and K2 instead..is that possible?

By default, JA Brickstore template uses VirtueMart Search Product module so the result will show VM products only, you can create a new search module as you wish and assign it to 'head-search' position.
