I would to add the hreflang tag only in the head of homepage

You can add it in this file /templates/ja_beranis/tpls/blocks/head.php

the solution you proposed is not good as it add the same HREFLANG tag in any page but it must be different for each page of a website (see Google guide about the implementation of HREFLANG tag ).

How I can insert the HREFLANG tag ONLY in the homepage HEAD section?

Hi giulia72

You can try with this trick

1) Duplicate your default layout and assign only the default for the home page
2) In your duplicated layout which you will assign to all other pages add the

3) Apply the isolation as i suggested in THIS POST

Now you can choose to which menu items assign custom code simply assigning to it the choosed layout -

P.S.

You should remove the code from head.php file too
