Joomla Cache with your extension?

Hi,
I use 2 great extension from Gavick:
Highlighter GK5 and News Show Pro GK5

I'd just like to know if the cache from these extension is the Joomla one or if it's located in another place.
Could you please tell me?

By the way could you give me an advise for cache management?
I need to clean the cache every hour for these 2 modules that are on the homepage. But all the other pages on the site have a content that almost don't change.
How could I manage that?

These modules are using Joomla cache. If modules are cached, you can use the Conservative caching settings and set the cache time like this:
