JB LifeStyle 2 Fails to Update

Hello.

Attempting to update JB LifeStyle2 Template from 1.0.1 to 1.0.4. Current subscription is active. Joomla version is 3.9.1 and PHP 7.2 running on Gentoo Linux.

Update fails with:

Update path does not exist.

How can I get the template to update?

You may install the latest template package by usual methods as outlined here after ensuring to take backup of your site

Upgrade Method:
You can install new version directly over the current version

If still unable to get it installed, Can you add your admin details in edit fields in order for us to take closer look.

Before I attempt to install the new version over the old version via package upload, will this method overwrite any settings or styles of the existing template? I need a definitive answer on this.

JB Templates not upgrading via Install From Web has been a persistant problem on both Redhat and Debian distro servers, and I don't believe it related to my server config, IE today I have successfully updated via install from web T2, ZenTools, ZenKit, Zen Social, and several other JB extensions on this site with no problems.

Requesting administrative access to a site should be a last resort. You did not even make an attempt to troubleshoot what those messages and warnings might mean.

Sorry but I am afraid that it isnt possible to give definite reply to this as it will majorly depend as to how customizations, changes and modifications have been done beyond the default template and whether, they have been done as per documentation

You may wish to check redirection link for documentation and suggestions posted here as to how changes/customizations are suggested in order to ensure they remain isolated and doesnt get overridden with updates

Yet, It is always suggested to take backup to avoid any unforeseen event

Regarding error, The same probably relates to permission issues i.e. you can check if tmp folder in root has been set to Chmod 777 or 755 and also review for other suggestions provided here
