Hello,
I am trying to set up the joomla bamboo Highline2 Template. However, when I install it, the template is just a white screen once set as default on my site. I understand I need to create modules and everything.. but even when I add the logo module, the backgroudn behind the logo is not appearing as in the template demo. I am trying to follow the steps here:
http://docs.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-template/buildr-documentation/recreating-the-demo/highline2
But in Step 3: "Select the Highline2 example configuration from the load saved settings dropdown."
I do not see Highline2 as an example to select.
Please help!
Even the menu that is appearing does not look like the template menu.
Highline 2 template installation problem
Hi infofamilia
You can install the quickstart version of the template and then have an exact replica of our demo site.
Remember to install sample data when requested at 3rd step of quickstart installation procedure
Remember also that quickstart install joomla plus template on your server overriding any other joomla installation
Hope it helps.
Regards
Thanks so much for replying! I have installed the quickstart version on a separate joomla installation and I am using that as my point of reference. But I have so many articles, categories, etc, that I can't use that quickstart installation as my base for remaking the site. It would be too much work to re-create the articles. That's why I wanted to set it up in a copy of my current website. I just don't know why I can't do step 3 of the instructions: ""Select the Highline2 example configuration from the load saved settings dropdown.""
This doesn't appear as an option! Do you know why?
Or if I could export the configuration from the quickstart.. that would fine too! But I can't find a way to do that either.
