A site just went down that is a Joomla site using an old responsive2 template. when I went to the url in question. It said Joomla in big letters and then “the template is missing” Siteground said that it was not their issue but helped me to restore the site.

I am currently backing up the site. What do you think was the problem. Could it be that I need to update the template?
And if that is the case… would jb-responsive 2-template_1.4.2.zip work even though it is updating a very old version of the responsive2 template?
