Update News Show Pro GK5 to 1.9.7 doesn't work.

Errors occured during upgrading, please fix them fist
MySQL path is not configed
MySQL Dump path is not configed
Local repository path is not configed

Ja extension manager works only with joomlart extensions not Gavick extensions - You should install extension using standard Joomla install , it will update installed extension.

Try that first and got this on two websites, one on plesk and the other o cpanel. Both give a warning.

Oh, Wrong version. Sorry. The issue is when updating News Show Pro GK5 from 1.9.7 to 1.9.8 ..

I have tried it locally too on a third website and got the same result.

I am experiencing the same difficulty.... unable to update from GK5 1.9.7 to 1.9.8. Attempting to update on WAMP server. You noted that you know where the problem is... please share. Thank you.

I am not able to provide the admin and ftp details for any of my websites.
I could though install a new joomla site and upload just the News Show Pro GK5 1.9.8. and have the same results.

I did it localy on my xampp server and got the same resalts on a fresh joomla copy.
Unfortunately I do not have time to make it available online.
