Edit Profile buttons do not work etc.

Hi,

i am running following extensions under Joomla 3.8.13 with Kunena Forum 5.1.5:

JAGDPR Component 1.0.4
JA GDPR Kunena Plugin 1.0.1
JA GDPR Joomla Core Plugin 1.0.2
JA GDPR Jomsocial Plugin 1.0.2
JA GDPR General Plugin 1.0.1

Under JA GDPR Settings I enabled the plugins mentioned above for Joomla, Jomsocial and Kunena.

In the main menue the site visitors can click on DSGVO (Engl. GDPR) to access the JA GDPR component and they then see 2 different sections:

1. Ihre persönlichen Daten (Joomla) [English: Your personal data]

BUG? => Clicking on EDIT PROFILE button here redirects to the home page instead of a place where one can edit his profile!

2. Ihre persönlichen Daten (Jomsocial)

Seems to work fine if you click on EDIT Profile!

3. Ihre persönlichen Daten (Kunena Forum) [English: Your personal data]

Clicking on EDIT Profile leads to the JOMSOCIAL Profile site - obviously because I activated the "Kunena - JomSocial Integration" and ENABLED JomSocial Profiles in that Plugin.

But nevertheless: THEN clicking on EDIT PROFILE should lead to the same target like in 2) (JomSocial). Instead you are redirected to your profile page and NOT to the EDIT YOUR Profile page. But in my opinion EDIT Profile in the KUNENA SECTION should work independent of disabling/activating "Kunena - JomSocial Integration" and ENABLING JomSocial Profiles in that Plugin because some data only are accessible via KUNENA profile edit.

Another Problem with the JA GDPR Plugin for Kunena Forum is that clicking on "ALL POSTS" under 3) "Ihre persönlichen Daten (Kunena Forum) results in an 404 component not found error.

it would be very nice if somebody from the developers or support team would answer, because GDPR is a serious topic and I'm reluctant to turn on superuser credentials for this issue for several days.

Joomla Edit profile not showing because there is no edit Profile menu in your site.
And it open the edit profile system URL on the homepage.
The homepage of your site does not have the mainbody section to display output this is reason it is not showing.

For Kunena : If the integration is ON it will goes the Jomsocial always. Kindly create some of the post by the same user account and click on the All posts.

Let me know the results.

The bug/problem is that it should open the EDIT-PROFILE-URL in Jomsocial and NOT simply the PROFILE-URL.

By the way I do not understand your explaination about clicking on ALL POSTS in Kunena Section when INTEGRATION is ON. Users expect that clicking on ALL POSTS in that section results in showing up their posts and not 404 component not found. So how can one solve this?

And with activated JS Integration clicking on EDIT PROFILE in KUNENA SECTION shoudl lead to

https://domain.tld/community/profile/edit.html

and NOT to

https://domain.tld/community/username/profile.html

with activated SEO in Joomla.

like mentioned in my former post I'm reluctant to turn on superuser credentials for this issue for several days.
That is why I will have to cancel that account today!

Currently making use of the JA GDPR Kunena Plugin 1.0.1 plugin does not make any sense when activating "Kunena - JomSocial Integration" and ENABLING JomSocial Profiles in that Plugin.

I enabled JomSocial component with "Show edit profile button" and "Enable delete/request button" in JA GDPR-Settings resulting the Screenshot below. The yellow "Request Manual Deletion"-Button right to the "Edit Profile" button cannot be clicked on because that button is not activated/linked!

Since I also enabled "Button Action" => "Request Manual Accounts Deletion" and "Allow PDF Download" in the GENERAL settings you see another grey "Request Manual Deletion"-button below the Jomsocial section AND the "SAVE this page"-button.

THAT Request Manual Deletion button can be clicked on. I wonder what is the difference between those 2 Manual deletion buttons, apart from the fact that the yellow one button does not work?

The SAVE-this page button opens a new window with the same information on which you have to click on SAVE-this-page again before the SAVE-to-PDF window opens. Why doesn´t this work at once when you click on SAVE-this page in the Jomsocial section (first opening window)?

kunena/tmpl/default.php is editable now!

The Request button disable incase you already sent the request.
You could not send the request again

It does not correspond to a good software ergonomic design presenting a button that cannot be used anymore and which only produces confusion! At least a help balloon or similar should pop up with a short explaination why thet remove profile button cannot be clicked.

The save to pdf popup only contain the gdpr infomation.
So you could printout the page.

I guess you misunderstood my hint: Clicking on the "Save this page" button should results in directly saving the presented information in a PDF. But what happens is that instead a further window with the SAME GDPR information pops up and presents a "Save this page" button again!

I would be still interested in the answer to the following question:

Unfortunately in KUNENA section clicking on ALL POSTS still results in 404 component not found error and "Edit Profile" does not lead to EDIT Profile but to the normal profile page. But I that this depends on the permission problems with default.php which you could not edit yet.

i fixed the "Edit Kunena Profile" and "All Posts" problem

Edit the file:
/plugins/jagdpr/kunena/tmpl/default.php

Change the code
'index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topics&layout=user&mode=posts&userid=' . $user->userid
To
'index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topics&layout=user&mode=posts&userid=' . $user->userid . '&Itemid=237'

Change the code
KunenaProfile::getInstance()->getEditProfileURL($user->userid);
To
JRoute::_('index.php?option=com_kunena&view=user&layout=edit&Itemid=237');

I don't think it's the bug of JA GDPR because when you access the forum link
All the Forum Profile link strangely become Community profile link as well.
Maybe it's cause by some Jomsocial Plugin.

And you have a Fatal Error on your Forum Edit Profile Page.

Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in 
components/com_kunena/template/purple_pirate/layouts/user/edit/profile/default.php

Unfortunately the behavior of Request button and Save to PDF was made that way.
Dev team will try to update that in the future.

Well - but isn´t that the SENSE of activating JomSocial-Profile in the Kunena Integrations-Plugin für JomSocial?
Or do you mean something else?
