Where is the image selector for the front page header? I tried to make custom headers for other pages, but the images were not responsive. I have no problem making separate header images to suit each like the ones that came with the quickstart.

cjestley To be precise, Can you kindly elaborate as to what you wish to achieve.

Can already see different header background images for certain screen sizes/breakpoints : /templates/gk_simplicity/images/header_tablet.jpg and /templates/gk_simplicity/images/header_mobile.jpg which are being shown as envisaged

For the front page header, I found the files for the responsive changes.
I want to create headers for other pages. and just putting images in a custom module does not appear to make them responsive. so obviously, I would like to have the images fit appropriate device.
Not sure how to be more specific.

Try add this to override.css file (don't forget to enable override from Template Options -> Advanced tab): :

#gkHeaderMod img{width:100% !important;height:100% !important;}

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect
