We use the ja_healthcare template and the ACM slideshow does not work. We have SIX slides defined in the module and only three of them are being displayed. It worked until I added a single additional slide.

First - how can this get fixed??

Second - the ACM module did not get any attention in the last 2 years or so since it was pulled out of the Uber template and (mis)used everywhere. Maybe it is time to clean that mess up, including the missing documentation.

    Hi,

Kindly share the credentials of your site: admin + FTP account so I can check for you.

    Regards

I updated the ticket information with the account/password info. There is no ftp configured for it.

Based upon first impresssions as you have older template version installed, Kindly try and update to the latest version of JA Healthcare i.e.1.0.7 as the same comes with major updates/improvements and various bug fixes as I have tried replicating the similar steps on local install with latest version of template and the functionality works fine as envisaged. Ref: Screenshot

      Upgrade Method:

You can install new version directly over this version. Uninstallation is not required.

Would suggest to take backup of your site before performing aforesaid steps, in case rollback required whilst facing any issues e.t.c

The JA ACM module has been upgraded and is the latest version.
Unless there is a specific point, just "upgrade it all" is not going to work.

Kindly refer to my prior forum post again as we had wished the template version to be updated and not module version in order to troubleshoot the relative issue

I did update the template files, but as expected, zero changes besides losing my modification...

          Hi
You need to select ACM style from JA Healthcare template for slideshow.
I changed it for you and you can see 6 slides are showing fine now.
If you want to make any custom change in the slideshow you can edit this file : file "/acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-owl.php" in template "ja_healthcare".

          Regards

Great! Well, now the navigation buttons are gone (even if I enable it in the php file) and also the timing is back to the fast forward every 5 seconds despite the "autoplay" settings. (that by the way is what I meant - zero documentation, apparently changing variable names...)

thomasrunge now the navigation buttons are gone (even if I enable it in the php file) and also the timing is back to the fast forward every 5 seconds despite the "autoplay" settings.

Kindly check now. There have been some changes done for specific attributes in /acm/slideshow/tmpl/style-owl.php due to which "dots" werent appearing. Have changed it like seen in screenshot

You may change the autoplay value accordingly for slide timings to change

Kindly ensure to clear your browser cache if changes dont reflect

Hi Aman - the dots show up, the timining does not change at all for me. It stays at about 5 seconds per slide.

Will verify for the relative issue as mentioned by co-ordinating with other team members. Please be patient while we revert back

              Hi thomasrunge

I added to your script the value autoplayTimeout: 1000,

              1000 is in milliseconds = 1 sec

as you can see it works as requested now , simply change the timeout with your needed value.

              Regards

Thanks. Would also be nice to see these parameters being documented somewhere....

                thomasrunge
                Hi
I will share the feedback with documentation team to update it for the slideshow speed topic.

                Regards

I think there is more that needs to be documented. The only documentation around the ACM module that I could find was in regards to the Uber template and is probably 2 years old...
