Site doesn't work with PHP 7.2

After installing the most current version of the JA Community Plus template in an environment with PHP 7.2 the site does not appear and there is the error " 0 - Using $this when not in object context".

What can be done to fix the error?

Could you edit your tags and add also a super user account to your back end with a working url for it ?

Installed Quickstart on my localhost with MAMP php ver 7.2.8 and Joomla updated from ver 3.8.12 to 3.9.2 website works like a charm.

I suggest to verify it installing the quickstart on your server in a subfolder and using a new database
