Custom admin menu not working

When I create custom admin menu like this: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/how-to-create-your-own-joomla-admin-menu
In standard theme is ok, but when I switch to ja-admin is only standard admin menu without options that I disable in custom admin menu for selected users group.

aman204 Sorry I can't write directly in JA Admin forum category (this template is not on list in tags when I add post). I working on JA Admin template and when I add custom menu in backend is not visible, only standard menu. When I switch to standard ISIS template is visible properly.

Access for my site is not necessary, I simply add in backend admin menu like in article
https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/how-to-create-your-own-joomla-admin-menu
and it's not visible in JA Admin theme, and for system theme is visible and working well.
There is problem with template, not with my site. You can add admin menu in any joomla and JA Admin template and you will see.

brand1975 Having replicated the specific functionality on local install, the same isnt working as envisaged in JA Admin

Hi,

JA Admin provides a more flexible way to manage links / menu in administrator view.

You can go to Backned > Site > Dashboard (I assume that you're settings JA Admin as default administrator template)

Then select Profile / user group you want to set up, Super Users for example: http://prntscr.com/m22peh > Click 'Manage' button

A popup will appear where you can see all modules under first tab 'Modules' > the Admin menu in menu position is listed there. Now, you navigate to Admin Menu Config tab, there you can add new menu item as you wish / decide to show menu item for different user level group access: https://prnt.sc/m221rn
