We have JomSocial version 4.6.2 and are currently in setup phase for our new Community platform.
We have very strong privacy policy and want to restrict the Frontpage Activity Stream only to official published activities which are controlled by the user and not every single activity should be visible to entire community.
In backend under Configuration Layout we have restricted the Frontpage Activity Stream
with Show Activity Stream to 'Members'. Unfortunately there is no other restriction possible.
I would like to ideally set to 'Friends' level.
Custom Activity is set to 'NO'
And with this setup we have the situation as follows:
A user 'A' navigated to his profile and submenu 'Who can see this' and set to most restricted policies so that only contacts/friends can see online status, or can send chat requests. Friend request privacy is set to 'No one'.
The user is now in contact with a new friend 'B' and so far so good.
But when user 'C' login he can now see in Frontpage Activity Stream that user 'A' is connected with user 'B'.
Or user 'A' is now member of group 'ABC'.
Other example......same for Events.
User 'A' created a private event ....and it is as well listed in Frontpage Activity Stream.
Is there no better way to control what is visible in Frontpage Activity Stream and more strong restrictions down to friends level ?
